The front columns got finished today. We can't wait to see the stone after the house is painted (we will be waiting a while!!!!).
The carpenter worked on our staircase today. He put "end caps" on the stairs and was ready to start on the banister and posts.
He also finished the "plant shelf".
The revised plan is to have the carpenter done by Monday. On Monday the painters will start by staining all the wood, painting the woodwork, and the then painting the walls.

It will probably take a couple weeks for the counters to come in. In the mean time the flooring people will have to be in, too.
We feel so close yet so far. I just can't wait to move in!
