The Time Has Come

The time has come. MOVE IN DAY! After a year of planning and building we move in tomorrow. So if you are not busy on Friday or Saturday there are some boxes with your name on them. Free house tours will be provided.
Our appliances came this week.

You know you are old when you are "in love" with your new refrigerator.

Some blinds are up but the upstairs blinds have not come yet. The poor customer service people. I keep calling and calling and calling!

Details

The porch railing went up today. Most of the trim got finished, as well.
The cabinet on the master bath counter was put into place. This is the 'garage' for my hair dryer.

The trim carpenter got most of the shoe put up today.

This is the carpet on the first floor. The second floor carpet should be being put down right now.

Closing date has been set: Feb. 26. Just in time to spend my birthday moving!

They started putting carpet down today. These two guys were really nice and taught me all about caring for my flooring.
The carpet pad is in upstairs.

Flooring and TP Holders

They started to put down our flooring yesterday.
Our builder also hung our TP holders. Who knew how much these things cost? We finally found these for $10 on line but you can pay $100 + if you want.
